Ed Jelley is a freelance writer, photographer,
and media manager from Long Island, NY.
Ed has been writing professionally for nearly a decade. He started his blog, edjelley.com, in 2012 to document his dive into the world of fountain pens, ink, and stationery. What started out to be a small personal project ended up becoming a popular source for information amongst online fountain pen community. Years of practice both writing and photography have led to numerous photo campaigns for stationery brands, and other writing opportunities.
In 2015, he joined the team at Everydaycarry.com, writing everything from new product announcements and product reviews, to curated buying guides with custom photography. Ed has written multiple guides and “Carry Smarter” educational pieces for both EDC and sponsored pieces for their advertisers. Their Instagram account has grown organically from 30k to 210k+ followers under his watch.
Moving into the world of watches, Ed is currently a Contributing Editor at Worn and Wound, a Content and Media Producer at Crown and Buckle, and on the Marketing Team at Tactile Turn.
His main goal when writing is to educate the audience with an approachable tone and back it up with top-notch photography. Every piece informs the reader about a product, highlights the small details, and lets them know everything they need.
